The challenge

Olo-apteekki changed its ecommerce supplier in 2020. An ecommerce store that sells prescription medicines has to meet regulatory requirements, and the project is constantly evolving as legislation changes.

Our solution

The ecommerce store is based on Magento Open Source and includes prescription medicine ordering functionalities, a strict information security architecture, operating models required by the authorities, and separate integrations related to tools and customer accounts.

“Our collaboration with Codaone began in 2020, when we changed our ecommerce supplier. Since then, the operation has been developed in good cooperation and the Codaone team has found a solution for everything we wanted.”

Aleksi RoutamaCEO, Olo-apteekki

“The collaboration has been flexible and functional from the beginning, and the Codaone team has been very accessible. Developing and maintaining the ecommerce store has been easier and faster than before, and working together has been fun. Let’s continue in the same vein!”

Aleksi RoutamaCEO, Olo-apteekki

How L'Oréal and Codaone are building a B2B store for Nordic pharmacies

  • Customer-specific views
  • 4 years of continuous development
  • Built to scale

Pharmacy customers in four countries order from the same system, yet each one sees only its own range and its own prices. The ecommerce store can be replicated for new brands, contracts or countries without building everything from scratch.
